Little Black Book of Beauty

The Heidelberg Project International Festival is coming up on August 23, 08. They have decided to host an Artistic Couture, Green, Fashionably Detroit, Recycled Fashion Show. Detroit Fashion Week, Brian Heath is on the committee to coordinate the fashion segment of the event. The showcase is only for students of fashion in schools or academies. It is a juried event and is all about Art, Design and Fun.

The festival brings art, music, food, fashion, hair design and more. The festival usually gathers around 1500 visitors during the day of events all over Heidelberg street where renown artist, Tyree Guyton has created a community built of recycled materials. It’s the city of Detroit’s only living public art project which has had international recognition.
